Accommodations

International Education offers an excellent Homestay program. Homestay placements are made at no extra costs to the student. Living with a Canadian family is an excellent opportunity for international students to learn the language and the culture of Canada.
Medicine Hat is a safe and friendly city where families welcome students into their homes. Canada is a multi-cultural country with families from around the world and not all Canadian families are alike. Families with or without children, older couples, single parent families and even single people take students into their homes. Students have the option of choosing whether or not they wish to be in a home with pets, children and/or smoking. Students should complete the homestay section of the application form and specify clearly any special requests.
Homestay fees are currently only $550 per month. This includes all your meals! Homestay fees must be paid directly to the family and not to Medicine Hat College. This price is subject to change.
